Today on 1st July National Doctors Day was celebrated in Govt Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Worthy Director General Health and Family Welfare /DHS Jammu along with other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence. Also team from Inner Wheel Club facilitated doctors of Gandhi Nagar hospital by giving momentos .Students participated in the event through Nukkad Natak ,speech and dance performance. Thank you speech by Worthy Medical Superintendent Gandhinagar Hospital was delivered followed by Hi tea program.

Today World Blood Donor Day was observed in Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu. On this occasion students from various paramedical colleges participated by raising slogans ,chart presentation and debate on the same. Further, awareness lecture on blood donation and how it can be beneficial was delivered by the staff of the hospital .

A rally was organised which was flagged off by esteemed Mayor Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta , Medical Superintendent Dr. Narinder Bhatial and other dignitaries. The route of rally was from front side of the hospital emergency gate passing through gole market and back to the hospital followed by refreshment to all. The aim for this celebration was to generate awareness not only among women but also men on women's health and hygiene that somehow effects Mental health of a women.
